Though the band, Aural Vampire, does not speak English fluently and their lyrics are in Japanese, they remain one of my favorite bands. Members, Exo-Chika (vocals/lyrics), and Raveman (music) are from Tokyo, Japan and have self-released thier first album, Vampire Ecstacy, in 2004. An on-line single, Death Folder was released in 2005. They have recently put an EP out on iTunes, which i have just purchased this past weekend.
Their genre is electro, darkwave and synthpop and all of thier songs just make you want to dance. But, because of the language barrier they could be singing about death, or killing small animals and you wouldn't have the slightest idea.
Aural Vampire will be puttingg out a CD in the spring of 2009.

While I love the sound of Aural Vampire's music, I have issues getting past the whole other language thing. The words are very important for me in a song and I can't relate very well to Japanese.
