We Came as Romans-Intentions

this song is amazing.
from it's classical breakdown, to it vocals it's definitely a song to get.

now i warn you: they ARE screamo/electronica. probably the band that i can best compare them to are I Set My Friends on Fire. They have a lot of heavy instrumental parts but when they sing, you cannot possibly believe how amazing it is.

they aren't big yet, but i believe that they could be the next big thing in hardcore/screamo.

they are NOT on iTunes, but they do have a purevolume.com where you can download their songs for free.
remember:
We Came as Romans, you'll be hearing from them soon.

Sassyback Tour=Grrr-eat!

So, imma little late in updating this but get over it.

the sassyback tour was AMAZING! cobra starship was the best, honestly. gabe was hilarious, ryland was a great dancer, vicky-t's keytar actually plays, nate was quiet, and alex was just a BA. super crazy, awesome, fantastic-adjective overload.

forever the sickest kids put on an amazing show. so energetic and in your face, exactly what a good concert needs. ftsk is now my mom's favorite band, not even kidding.

sing it loud was crazy! people were falling over, like myself, in great masses. it hurt! they were good and i really want to see them again. but they messed with their girly hair to much...gross.

hit the lights was great, though i didnt really know their songs, i really wish i did, their vocals were crazy good. and it really made me want to go out and buy their new CD, which i will. :]

ilovelovelovemusic! next concert?

Cash Cash, TVTV Sunset Shootout, Team Goldie! December 6th.
ohhh yeah.

If I were a Boy

so beyonce, or should i say "Shasha Firece", has out this song. and woah, is it bad. besides her lound, honky, and completely annoying voice, the lyrics are also quite wierd.

If I were a boy

I think I could understand

How it feels to love a girl

I swear I’d be a better man.

i mean, come on. who wrote this song thinking, "this song will be a hit! praised and loved by millions." but the demographic that they reached with this song were a couple of girls who wanted to be guys living in Minnesota. and have you seen the video? talk about confusing! i better understood the R Kelly, Trapped in the Closet videos.

So, after all of this song bashing, i am done. i have vented and feel great.

old beyonce=great

sahsa fierce=horrid (so far)

Millionaires

Some of you may have already heard of this all girl group. They are growing more famous by the moment. Though the lyrics of their songs are not radio appropriate and they make my mother cringe, i adore them!
The members are: sisters, Melissa Marie and Allison, and Dani.
Their music is electronic, crunk, pop. With beats that make you dance and lyrics that make you giggle they are winners among the dance scene. They aren't touring much and mostly stick to California, which is a bummer considering that we live on opposite side of the U.S. They released an EP in late summer '08, entitled the Bling! Bling! Bling! EP. All of the songs are awesome but please, mind the lyrics. Don't play it when you are around your elderly grandparents for hearing their lyrics may make them pass out.
(except for these.)
"Diamond plugs, septum rings
i like money
bling bling bling!"

Aural Vampire

Though the band, Aural Vampire, does not speak English fluently and their lyrics are in Japanese, they remain one of my favorite bands. Members, Exo-Chika (vocals/lyrics), and Raveman (music) are from Tokyo, Japan and have self-released thier first album, Vampire Ecstacy, in 2004. An on-line single, Death Folder was released in 2005. They have recently put an EP out on iTunes, which i have just purchased this past weekend.
Their genre is electro, darkwave and synthpop and all of thier songs just make you want to dance. But, because of the language barrier they could be singing about death, or killing small animals and you wouldn't have the slightest idea.

Aural Vampire will be puttingg out a CD in the spring of 2009.

Songs to buy: Darkwave Surfer, Hot Blood Workout, and Cannibal Coast.

Owl City

Adam Young is an amazing artist. With his catchy electro-dance beats infused with heartfelt lyrics, this young man soars among the electronic genre. All of his songs have lyrics that go deeper than the typical artist.
Off of his new new CD, Maybe I'm Dreaming, one of my favoirte songs is Rainbow Veins.
"Cheer up and dry your damp eyes tell me when it rains, then i'll blend up that rainbow above you, and shoot is through your viens." Adam is clearly telling someone to be okay and just enjoy that things in life that make you feel happy.

Another favorite song of mine off of that CD is Super Honeymoon. Though the lyrics are a bit meloncholy, I can tell that they are all about love. (what isn't these days?)

If you enjoy: The Postal Service or Hellogoodbye I am sure that Owl City will be at the top of your Christmas list.
Please support this up and coming artist and purchase his songs through iTunes.
